Chicago Charter Fishing. Located in Belmont Harbor near Wrigley Field. 2022 is underway. Salmon and Trout are able to be caught. Our goal is to work to make your events and trips the safest and best possible. We are located 3 miles from downtown Chicgao

We Carry Only the Finest Equipment Available

King Fisher and Salukis Pride Charters is one of two remaining multi-boat fishing charter companies located within the Chicago Harbor System.

Fishing for Salmon and Trout our vessels accommodate 6 people per boat. Your group will charter the vessel by themselves and due to COVID we do not allow groups to share trips. Fishing Starts April 15th each year. We hope you enjoy the world class Salmon Trout and Perch Fishery on Lake Michigan.

We will work as hard as we possibly can to make your trip fun and safe. We do have a no fish policy. If we do not catch a fish on your trip. Your next trip is free.

Fishing Lake Michigan is a pleasure in this vessel. There is a private washroom on King Salukis and has comfortable seating on the back deck or the galley.

Lake Michigan fishing has been part of my life since I worked on my father’s boats starting in 1983. I still love watching kids and adults alike catch their first Lake Michigan Salmon. I fish as much as I can. I can promise you “A honest effort and a heck of a good time on Lake Michigan"

Captain Kevin was born to be a Lake Michigan Salmon and Trout Fishing Captain. He won his first major Salmon Tournament in 2007 the 333 Port Championship in Michigan City Indiana.

The Best Times to Fish

What to Bring

Now that you’ve planned your big fishing trip, it’s time to pack the essentials. Salukis Pride Sportfishing provides all of your fishing gear and equipment, but you need to bring the following:

Cooler

Aside from storing food and drinks, you also need a cooler to transport your fish back home with you. Ask your charter boat captain for the size. Also, don’t forget the ice!

Drinking Water

Your Chicago fishing charter will provide water for your trip. Alcohol is also allowed.

Sunglasses

Bring sunglasses, more specifically polarized fishing glasses, to lessen the sun’s glare reflecting from the water.

Fishing Hat

Protect your head from the sun’s harmful rays.

Sunscreen

Tanning is best done on the beach, not on a sailboat while fishing. Make sure to tote a sunscreen with you to avoid painful sunburns.

Jacket or Windbreaker (Optional)

If you are fishing in foul or rainy weather, you may want to bring a lightweight jacket or windbreaker for protection.

Camera

To make your trip even more memorable, bring a camera to take snapshots of your catch or film the beautiful Chicago skyline.

Medicine

If you get seasick easily, it’s wise to take Dramamine® or any motion sickness medicine the night before your trip.

Cash (to Tip)

You probably already paid for the whole trip, but it’s a good habit to bring some money with you so you can tip the First Mate.
